Update to iOS 27

Go to Settings → General → Software Update and install iOS 27 when it becomes available in September 2026. Make sure you have a compatible device (iPhone 15 Pro or later).

Enable Apple Intelligence

Navigate to Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri and make sure Apple Intelligence is turned on. Siri Chat is included automatically.

Activate Siri Chat

Say "Siri" or hold the side button to summon Siri. The new chatbot interface appears with text and voice input options.

Start a conversation
